How have I deleted all the pics and music off my iphone?

No, it's disappeared, it's nowhere I can see. It's the photos I'm more upset about, can replace the music. But thanks...

Disappeared from iTunes on your computer? I've heard of stuff vanishing from the phone after an update but this seems a bit nastier...

Don't worry about the iPhone for the moment.... You synched your iPhone with a computer using iTunes on that computer? Was the music ever in iTunes on that computer?

yes, and yes I think so, I don't use itunes to buy music though, it was all loaded on from CDs I had before. so can reload presumably, but what about the photos?

Have you tried to restore your iphone from the backup it made?

oh, where would that be?! sorry I just never use itunes, love the phone though.
