Syncing calendar between iPhone & Blackberry?

After several heated diary clashes between myself and DH, I was wondering if there is any app that we can both download that will sync our calendars together? DH has a Blackberry and I have an iPhone.

Lots of people have suggested Google Sync but from a quick glance it looks as though we'd both have to pay £30-odd a year?

I've not got a Blackberry. But googling around I've found this article:

There's no mention of a charge for Google Sync. It's unusual for Google to charge for their software. Google Sync

My OH has an Android phone and I have iPhone. What we did was set up a brand new Gmail account and then both set up our phones to use that.

Iphone is dead easy to set up. Just go to settings -> Mail -> Add Account -> GMail. Then in Calendar, just press the Calendar button at top left and check the new calendar is set to show.

No idea on Blackberry. Sorry
