Sony tablet Please tell me it great!!

I've been wanting an iPad for months been putting money away but dstepf is obsessed with Sony not cos he know anything but cos the guys in the shop are very helpful. As a surprise he got me a Sony tablet for Xmas so please tell me it's better than iPad and what I can do with it? I'm guessing it won't link to my iPhone?

My DH says that they're good but sadly not quite as good as an iPad...so not a total disaster.

Its running Android 3.1,more desirable than an ipad in my opinion.

I don't know anything about it but I have a tablet that isn't an ipad and I love it.
The world doesn't start and end with Apple.

I have an android 8 inch tablet and even ds who worships at the altar of apple admits it is almost comparable to his ipad.

You'll be able to watch flash videos and games, which an iPad can't.

Good tablet, no ipad beater though.

As for Flash, most websites are moving to HTML 5 which the ipad deffo supports. Even BBC and Youtube are HTML 5 compliant now.

Off to have a proper play with it now!! It's very preeeetty!! just it won't sync with phone.

So far loving it but It's annoying that some apps aren't available on it. Apparently Sony will be catching up now there linked with google but the man in the Sony shop would say that!!
