Sophos has identified a Tojan virus, Troj/ZbotMem-B and isolated it in quarantine, but says that manual clean-up is required. Apparently this is one that targets on-line banking. I tend not to trust online banking anyway (luddite) and have checked my credit and debt card details, and actually seem to have spent less than I would have expected for this time of year, so I do not think these have been hacked. My main online mode of spending is via Ebay/Paypal which is fairly secure.
Anyhow, Sophos has labelled "manual clean-up required" on the quarantined virus, and I would appreciate any advice on what we ought to be doing, as DH has been struggling to do this and just staggered to bed feeling rather frustrated that he has not been able to sort it out.
