It's not a copyrighted one it's of her in a play

I want it on my computer - but my DVD drive is a bit dead; so I am trying to copy it on her laptop

So how do I do it; I had a go (don't ask me how) & I have lots of bits of files

Help me????

If it's a self made DVD (ie, it won't be encrypted), then I think the simplest way would be to open up the DVD in "My Computer"

You should now see two folders. One called AUDIOTS, another called VIDEOTS.

Copy both onto your desktop. Once it's finished, pop in a blank DVD and copy the folders back. Burn the DVD.

Otherwise you can download programs such as imgburn but try the above first.

If it is encrypted, then Doom9 will take you through it.

Or on Mac, apps you will find useful are: Mac The Ripper Handbrake, Mpg Streamclip and the marvellous VLC
