Video clip - transfer to/play on my iphone4? Says it can't...

Me again.
((OK, re my other thread, so I created/opened drop box, I have saved my clip but no one other than me can access it or play it, despite it being "public". Kind of hoping it is there end which is blocking it not mine.))

Part 2 - I have a short excerpt of the clip now saved in my itunes on the Mac - I tried to drag to my iPhone, appeared in the Movies tab, but when I tried to sync to my phone, it said "xxx clip was not copied to the iPhone because it cannot be played on this iPhone". It's an iPhone 4 with the latest iPhone software on it, so what else do I need to do?!?!?!? I have videos on the iphone which I took with the iphone which play so why won't this one?

Exactly how did you get the clip out of iMovie? I'm guessing that it's still in the raw video format that iMovie works in and not something playable by other devices.

One way of doing this is...

Make a project in iMovie and then add into that and edit the bits of movie that you want.

Then select the project and click on the Share menu, select the iTunes option and you'll then get a very helpful little window with lots of sizing options showing what will work with what.

Select it and it will then be in iTunes, and it should be able to go onto your iPhone. And you should also be able to drag it to drop box.
