HELP! How to delete YouTube from iPad 2

DS is accessing YouTube via the iPad. How do I either remove it, or is there a way to set some parental filter so he can't access inappropriate content? Thanks.

I don't think you can remove the YouTube app. Go to settings, general, restrictions to set the parental filter.

You can disable YouTube... Under Settings / General there's a restrictions option. Enable it (it'll ask for a code to be set) and then block YouTube. You'll also want to block Safari as that's another route to "bad" things.

I don't think that there's a reliable filter option to block inappropriate content, but I'd be glad to learn otherwise...

settings-enable restrictions and set a pin to turn off the functions you don't want him to use. I'd suggest setting that for safari too if he's acessing you tube inappropriately he needs to be unable to google inappropiate stuff too.

Consider setting a pin on the whole device too!

Thanks everyone, have disabled under the general settings option. He's not googling porn or anything, just smutty comedy vids which is innocuous to him but sparking alarm bells to me! Knew MN would have the answer!
