I am about to buy a kindle - anyone able to outline the difference between the new small wifi only version and the old bigger one?

Well I have an older one with a keyboard and the letters rubbed off the keys within a few weeks. It's not really a problem as I only use the keypad once in a blue moon to type in a wifi code.....and I type that much I know which keys which letter.

I have an older one as well and tbh rarely use the keyboard anyway. I have a Wifi only one which I am fine with as I only put books on it at home. Haven't got that many on there so would probably have been fine with the smaller one which has a smaller capacity I think. Is the battery life shorter as well? My on lasts for ages and so needing to plug it in a bit more often wouldn't be a problem. Is it a smaller Kindle? My only concern would be availability of covers I think.
