Otterbox for Ipad2 - anyone got one?

I've got an Otterbox Defender for my iphone4 which I love because I'm a bit clumsy and this case means my phone has already survived 2 drops onto the pavement unscathed. So, I'm thinking that I should get the same kind of case for my iPad but the reviews for it are mixed, in particular I'm concerned that there is no integral screen cover for it so now I'm not so sure. Anyone got one and care to offer a review? Or suggest an alternative? I need something bombproof!

If you are desperate for a case then try the Gumdrop Drop Tech Case

This one comes with an integrated screen protector and should survive a drop or two.

To be fair I use mine with a normal leather case and even the kids use it. Dunno why, maybe because it's a lot larger or maybe because we're usually sat down when using it and its not something being pulled out of a pocket but we don't seem to drop it at all.

Worth considering before you part with a fair chunk of cash on a tough case.

Thanks for that. I think you may be right about whether I actually need such a sturdy case for something that won't really be leaving the house.

I got one, but it really take some of the joy out of using the Ipad as it is bulky and heavy,so I only use it if I am travelling. I also bought a smartcover which I use at home and I love it
