i've got an iphone and a blackberry

but i don't need both and i've decided to do away with the iphone and to save money by stopping the monthly payments on it.

My question is, how do I transfer the iphone number to my blackberry. What I mean is, I want the blackberry to have a new phone number, which used to be the old iphone number.

You've got to be kidding - you are giving away the iPhone and keeping the blackberry?!??! Nonononono you've got that the wrong way around!!! The iPhones are sooooo much bettter!!!

Anyway.....none of my business I suppose......so just to try and help - I'm pretty sure it's not as simple as just swapping SIM cards.

You will need to contact your network provider (ie. Vodafone or O2 or whoever you're with). If the b'berry and the iPhone are with the same provider it will be easy.

I have a blackberry, I'd rather have an iphone Brain's right, just contact your network provider.

Don't keep the blackberry, keep the iPhone. I have both (work and private) and the blackberry is rubbish.

As to how, swap sim cards, but make sure the blackberry is unlocked first? I'd also get the iphone unlocked so you can flog it.

Why on earth would anyone want to go from a iPhone to a Blackberry
