There are so many to choose from. I want something durable (I'm sure I'm going to drop it at some point with a toddler around) and smart looking too that isn't going to get grubby looking really quickly! Any ideas? Thanks!

Whichever you choose make sure you try your phone in it. I have a iPhone 4s and already on my 2nd cover. Neither this all my last one fit properly as most covers at the moment are made for the iPhone 4 which is slightly different. Main issue is on the mute toggle on the left hand side is slightly higher on the 4 than the 4s

I got this one for DH. The mute thing ^ is slightly covered but still can be moved easily. DH hasn't complained and if it were slightly a problem then I'd have heard about it Grin

We also got these and these all from the same seller.

A speck A speck candyshell

I have had one for me iPhone 4 for over a year and its still looking good and provides great protection. I had one for my 3 as well and ditto. Google it and they do come really highly recommended by geek mags and stuff. Get a screen protector too.

I've tried various cases over the years for my various iphones. This is the one I use the most and when my last broke, I bought another.

depends how dreadful you are with phones... Grin

If you are prone to dropping them, standing on them, or flushing them down the loo Blush get an Otterbox defender. www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_3_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=otterbox+iphone+4s&sprefix=otter
They are not pretty cases but they are the best protection you can get!!!! They have a hard inner shell and even the screen has a clear (not just stick on) cover and all the ports and holes are covered! I invested in one after my last iphone disaster (fell out of my pocket and into the loo.. right round the bend!)

Got my DD one too and hers survived a similar flushing!!!

Otterbox Commuter is the one I have. I like it because it is very sturdy, but not too bulky.

We have all got Otterbox covers and have never had a problem until DD forgot to replace the cover after charging it and dropped her iPhone on the floor
