xbox 360 help!

Hello, i bought my DH a xbox 360 for his birthday, he's been wanting one for years!
However, the clicking of the controller is driving me NUTS!!

Is there such a thing as a silent contoller??? - PLEASE tell me there is!

What clicking?

If the buttons are clicking then he's pressing them too hard. :) The controller buttons are supposed to be soft, and hitting them too hard will eventually cause them to break.

Chances are though that the clicking is coming from the analog sticks hitting the edge of their little circles, which are made of hard plastic. You might be able to soften that with some rubber bands or something, but that will make the controller harder to use as the stick won't slide around the edge like it's supposed to.

Hmm. Maybe just buy your DP a game that involves less movement? Get him onto some puzzle games or something.
