Help! Security Shield removal.

Buggery f**k.

Got this thing popping up at me telling me I'm infected, and obviously it is the infection. It won't let me open Malwarebytes anti-malware, keeps telling me I can't because it's infected.

Have googled(from behid the endless popups) and there are a multitude of links on how to remove it, but which one should I trust?

Shutdown.
Open in safe mode.

(Keep tapping f8 before the windows icon comes up. Should bring you a screen with a few selections, one of which is safe mode)

Then run your scan.
