i was thinking of buying a new kindle for dd to read books and listen to audio books, however the new kindle doesnt hold audio books, what is a good alternative e reader for similar price , around £90 ? or are there any tablet pc's that would be good for downloading books and audio books??

TBH I think you need to pick one or the other, Kindles have amazing screens that are far, far, far easier on the eye then a regular LCD, so you really need to decide what is more important, having audio books or having something thats really easy on the eyes.

kindle also has the dictionary lookup which Kobe hasn't
I thing in itself is worth a lot, as a tool and a great learning tool

Kindle screen is the winner, regardless of audiobook capability, the latest Kindles are suberb to actually read.
