Would having an iPad and an iPhone be overkill?

I have an iPhone at the moment and hardly ever bother switching the PC on at home now because I use the phone for virtually everything. I'm thinking that as I use my iPhone most of the time as opposed to the PC, it would be useful to have the bigger iPad screen for when I'm at home. DH thinks I'm nuts. I on the other hand think it's a v sensible idea! Who's right? Examples and opinions welcomed.

Nah, not overkill. We have both. In fact DP even bought an iMac too with his redundancy money. You'll never (rarely) go back to windows once you get used to Apple computers. They just work.

The iPad is great. Especially for surfing and watching tv.

Oh, and look on Big Pockets website. They had some refurb ones recently for half the price!

I love the iPad. It's great for browsing, having in the kitchen to look up recipes. My 3YO DS loves it and I don't think we could do without it now. It's not overkill.

I have both and love them both. Got the iPad first and then the phone and can't believe I fanned about with a blackberry for years!

Justfeckingdoit · 28/10/2011 10:59

Fannyed about (if that's a word? The iPad clearly thinks not)
