Xbox 360 might be dying. Any advice please?

IDS1's Xbox is about 3 years old. It's having trouble reading disks currently. Is this something that can be fixed? Anyone found a solution to this problem?

Can't afford to replace it atm.

Sounds like the laser is going. It's quite a common fault on the xBox.

There are plenty of repair services which can fix them fairly cheaply. Google xbox repair and your area for a list.
