problem printing threads - blank space at bottom of the page

When I print a thread, using the print button at the top of the page to eliminate ads etc., I lose about a third of the page at the bottom. I've right clicked on the print button to see if I can do anything about page layout, in case the bottom margin is too deep, but can't see how I would do that. I don't have this problem printing usually, so my printer settings are presumably ok. Anybody else have this problem?

Which Operating System (e.g Windows 7, Windows XP, Mac OS X) and which Browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) are you using?

You could try using a different browser as some might be worse at laying the page out than others.

ooh good point - Windows XP and Google Chrome. Will try internet explorer

Thanks!

Cool :)

In the end the HTML for this page does have some errors in it (most html does, web designers are often quite sloppy and standards change) and some browsers can handle that better than others.
