Toddler has been monkeying about with my phone and it seems to be stuck on something called swype. How do I go back to my previous keyboard? I want predictive text as my thumbs keep misspelling things!

If it's the same as htc then hold down where you would type until 'text input' comes up. Select that, then select normal keyboard, BUT don't do it! Swype is so bloody good, much much better than the normal keyboard. Go to the tutorial on swype and use that. It's a bit odd the 1st few times, but once you're used to it so much quicker and easier than the normal phone keyboard.

On my samsung there's a key on the qwerty keyboard that looks like a cog. If you hold it down you get the option of the normal keyboard or the swype one.

I am willing to give it the benefit of the doubt if I can just have the old one back first! . Which key gives the text input bit? When I press and hold the normal keys they just give the other options for that particular key.
