Hotmail query

I have created a new contact on Hotmail. I now want to add this contact to an existing group O have already created. Please can someone tell me how I do this. I am getting very frustrated cos I can't work out how to do it!

I just go to manage categories, then go to the bottom of the list and start to add the name. That brings up my contacts and I select the one I want.
