So, the touch pad thingy won't let me scroll up and down the page, I have to user the arrows at the side of the window which is a serious PITA, anyone know what key I need to press to enable the touchpad?

Is it moving the cursor at all or have only some fubctions been disabled?

What make is the laptop. If it has been disabled completely and it is a compaq/hp there might be a little red light in the top left of the touchpad. If you double click this light it should go off and restart the touchpad. If not a reboot may be necessary.

Another option is to Go to your touchpad icon in the system tray (near the clock bottom right). There you should be able to change the settings and you might find. Something suitable.

Hi.
Thanks for posting.
The cursor is moving around fine, but I can't move the page up and down IYKWIM.
Will have a look at the menus and toolbars now.
Thanks

You need to open up the touchpad settings from the system tray. You are looking for 1 finger or 2 finger scrolling I think.
