Hotmail not running well since PC repair

My computer had to go for a repair and went back to factory settings. Since then my emails freeze in my Hotmail inbox so I can't open things, delete things or links within emails don't work - it just jumps back to the inbox page. Is there something I should download that helps run Hotmail better? It is drving me insane.

If you've had a factory restore, have you since downloaded and applied all the available critical/important and recommended Windows Updates? If you're up to date again and still having the problem, the easiest solution is likely to be to try a different browser, so if you're currently using IE, try Firefox or Chrome, perhaps?
