Safari has locked up on Iphone.

Safari has locked up on my Iphone in that I am stuck in one window, I cannot scroll or expand it and I cannot move from window to window.
This means I cannot browse (or access Mumsnet). Please help

Switch phone off and on again?

have you tried double clcking the home button to bring up the task bar type thing
then you can hold down one of the running buttons (app square things) until they all come up with a no entry sign
then you can shut safari down and reopen it

Hold the home button & off button until the apple comes. Of it doesn't work then back up & restore. Mine does this regularly.

that has happened to me and I think that as HarrietJones says you hold down the off button and hold down the home button at the same time until it forces it off and then you can restart it.

Double clicking home did work. Thanks for that!
