Downloading songs onto and MP3 player?

Okay I shouldn't find this difficult, as I'm not old and am usually quite technologically minded.

We have just purchased an MP3 player for DS1 and need to put some music on it for him. How do I go about downloading from the internet onto it, and is there a way I can put music CDs into my computer and onto it?

Depends on what brand of MP3 player you have bought. Usually you can plug them into the USB port using a cable and then it will appear as a drive letter under My Computer.

You can buy MP3's from many websites. Try Amazon, they're pretty cheap. Once you've downloaded the MP3s, copy them to the MP3 player whilst it's plugged in.
