Which laptop shall I buy from Amazon?

I want to get a laptop, preferably from Amazon, as I really rate their customer service. I've found a few I like the look of but can't make my mind up! It's to surf the net, word processing, store pictures and watch DVDs, and possibly to work on Publisher. Budget around £400 so there's a HP one reduced to £329.99 which I like the look of and a Samsung with a 17in screen which also looks ok. Any advice welcome!

I'm just setting up a samsung r730 from amazon right this very moment :)
First impressions - are: it is pretty! nice red. Very glossy screen (dd can use it as a mirror when laptop is off! but might be a problem in bright light) keyboard is full size. I'm at the disk partitioning bit atm so no other thoughts! will post back...
