How can I get rid of YouTube on an iPhone4?

Any ideas?

I have some apps on it for DD (2.6) as it keeps her quiet educationally stimulated from time to time.

However, like all children, she is a technological genius and has managed to locate YouTube. I let her watch a bit of Balamory stuff etc, but cycling christ, there's some dodgy stuff that comes up. I want rid of it.

When I try to delete it like an app, no cross appears- when I link it to my computer it can't see any of the apps as I haven't registered the phone yet. Must I register it? Will I be able to delete it then?

I don't think you can delete it - it's an integral part of the phone.

Not sure if it's the same on 4, but try Settings>General>Restrictions>Allow and click on YouTube. You'll need your access code to change it.

It only hides it, I don't think it's possible to delete it.

Wahey, thanks!

MrsFooty, you are a genius. It has effectively disappeared Smile
