Thinking of getting a macbook air - should I wait?

I was thinking of getting one of these but when I googled it last night information about a possible new version coming soon came up. How likely is this to be true? It is based on amazon and bestbuy running out or something like that but I know nothing about how these things work. I don't get to buy new things very often so would be really hacked off if I bought one today only to find a new one came out next week! I don't want to wait forever to get one either though.

Yes, the Macbook air is about to be refreshed with the latest Sandybridge processor range and thunderbolt port. ETA is late June so you've probably only a week/two to wait.

I love the sleek looks of the Air but not the pricetag for what you get.

Personally I'm keeping my eye on the Asus EeePC X101 which is due out in the next month or two. For 120 quid, it's well worth a punt if your requirements are big.
