Replacement Laptop Lid

Accidentally scratched and dented the lid of a laptop. Is it possible to fit a replacement one and where might I get one from. I have looked on e bay and Amazon but nothings come up. Its an Advent.

does that damage affect the way your laptop works?

kayah Hi, the laptop isn't mine. It still works ok. and was in pristine condition till I slid it into a box and two screw heads gouged it!

I've found out a lot since this thread about skins and clip ons, etc but I want to replace the actual lid. As its not a new model my only hope is a 'good enough' used one so the search goes on.

You need to do a search on Google for Avent laptop plastics. If you work through the companies putting in model number you should find one.
