When is the iPhone 5 out?

Due an upgrade next month and I'm wondering whether to hold out (paying a bit less until it's out) or pay the same as now & get an iPhone 4. I currently have a 3GS

The latest rumours (Apple themselves always stay tight lipped) are pointing to the end of the year.

I've heard everything from September to next January. I'd get a 4.

I've had a 4 since last summer and although it's my first iPhone, so I have no basis to compare the previous ones, I've been extremely pleased with it. I've read (again only rumours) that the 5 won't be radically different to the 4 so much as an incremental upgrade.

a 3GS to 4 jump isn't that great. The main difference is the display but its imo not worth tying yourself to a 2 year contract for.

It's also rather uneventful since you basically plug it in, restore your backup and hey presto!

Personally I'd go monthly until the 5 is out.

Finally iphone 5 has been launched having great features. its screen is slightly bigger ranging from 3.7 to 4 inches with curved glass display and tear drop shaped and also lighter than earlier models with aluminum plate casing.
