Calling all font geeks (I know you're out there)

I need the perfect font for a poster to advertise a book club I am setting up.

What shall I use?

Hmmm, what's the genre of the club? Fiction? Non-fiction? New fiction? Classic?

Comic Sans.

You'd better be Trillian! I mean, really!

Comic Sans in font size 16? Perfect. Sorted.

Fiction. Fairly literary (no Jodie Picoult). But chatty and fun too (no Proust).

I would use something sanserif then. I assume you have only fonts that come standard with Office?

Oh probably. I can usually ask DH for anything extra, but that might be a bit OTT for a book club poster.

I find I use Century Gothic or Tahoma a lot if I don't want to fall back on Arial, which a valid choice as well, if a bit blah!

Ha! Aww but that Comic Sans dog is adorable.

Helvetica but then I am a closet hipster with design pretensions unfortunately.
