I've my HTC WIldfire for around 6 months - I am very pleased with it, great little phone. I usually charge it every night and this has been fine, it will actually go 36 hours if not used much. I've not had to do any of the power saving things like turn off location etc before.
Now it's dropping really fast, in a few hours it's out. I am sure this is to do with an app I got recently, DoubleTwist and associated AirSync for transferring playlists from iTunes wirelessly. It worked well but I think it was syncing constantly when at home and draining the battery. I don't care that much about having music so I un-installed both those - but it's still happening!
I downloaded Juice defender - no luck. I have looked at getting various battery indicators but am getting really confused at what they do differently from the standard one? I need something that will identify the problem and let me switch it OFF!
Do I need to go into the inner workings of the phone and remove something else? Please help - it's now really unreliable and I need it!
