Kindle bits again! Which to buy?!

It's my birthday next Friday and my present to myself (and from my lovely parents!) is a Kindle. However, I'm unsure whether to buy the 3G or the WiFi. I was originally planning on buying a 3G one as I intended to go travelling next summer, however now that's being pushed back for a few years and I'm wondering whether it'd be better to buy the wifi one as I'll no doubt just replace it before I go travelling now (I don't expect it to last for a few years before I go plus the few years afterwards too!) and the UK has good wifi access most of the time! Which would you buy? Would 3G be a better choice or would I be best with wifi?

I went for the 3G one, and glad I did as it is great for checking news websites while on the move!

You can do that?! Shock That's news to me, I had heard things like that but didn't realise you actually could!

One thing that's pushing me to 3G is that I plan on being a live-in nanny, and wireless internet connection is never reliable in the places I've worked before! Grin

Oo, also, warranty or not? Will they replace it if it goes wrong without one?

I prefer Wi-Fi to be honest - I've got a 3G one at the moment and to be honest I never use it. Amazon delivers books you buy to it anyway, and for actually reading books (the bulk of the time you spend on it) you don't need any connection.
