earphone jack broken off in Nintendo help please

how the hell do I get it out? Sound won't work with it in there and DS with SN getting VERY upset.

If the sound doesn't work now it probably never will, you could try opening it up yourself very carefully to get it out, the screws are on the back and I think there is a hidden one under the battery.

There are videos on youtube about how to open each model and you need a tri-wing screw driver to open any Nintendo product, they are cheapest from HK, you can order one with free postage from DealExtreme.com unfortunately that will take a couple of weeks to arrive.

fixed it! Hurrah for me. Screwed screw into the end of the jack that was stuck and pulled with pliers. Sound working as normal now.

Good stuff. I thought you where talking about the connector in the DS falling off and into the machine.
