Task bar hell.

If its at the bottom I cant use the bottom of the scroll and its hard to press 'post message'

If its at the top I cant use the address bar

If its on the right I cant minimize

If its on the left I cant use the back buttons.

Help me. Can I make it thinner or something. I dont remember having this problem before.

I assume you're using Windows but which version ? Also, have you a mouse with a scroll wheel between left and right 'click' areas ?

It sounds like your task bar has "auto hide" enabled (so it goes off screen until you get your mouse to the edge). If that's the case, then I can understand why you'd have a problem minimising (however, if you keep the task bar on and maximise a window, the control features [minimise, restore, close] would always be visible as the window would run only up to the edge of the task bar and should never be covered by it.

As for the width/ height (depending on where it is on screen), it should be possible to reduce the size to only one icon wide/ deep. It may take some patience to get it right, but once you do, I suggest you go through the shutdown and restart option so Windows saves the settings with everything set 'right' and that you are happy with.
