Had a wall post explaining that Facebook has automatically set accounts to a http connection which is not as secure as a https connection. Followed instructions and corrected this. However, I have now discovered that if i want to play games i have to switch to a http connection. Should I be worried?

https is more secure than http and Facebook will always use it to log you in and they are trying to expand the usage of this more secure method across the whole site. The inability of some apps to work through https is known about and will, apparently, be addressed over time. It's nice that Facebook is driving towards more https support but I'm not overly worried about it. Facebook has enough other security risks that my chatter to and from the web site not being encrypted isn't really the highest of my concerns. So use https when you can but don't be too worried when you can't. Spend your time checking that your privacy settings are set nice and high and thinking carefully about what you post up there.

Thank you for that. Realise its daft to worry as mumsnet is only http!
