Facebook question please

I have the status of some friend man keeps appearing on my FB page. He is not listed as a 'friend', I have no idea who he is but he posts continually and it's getting on my nerves. Any idea how I can bump him off?

hover over it, and click the X on the top right of the post. Should give you options to hide/delete I think
