HELP! What programme do I need to open a jnlp file?! (for OU Elluminate! Live)

Any ideas? I downloaded the recommended one (uniblue registry booster) and all it did was do a scan.

I am totally clueless but need this type of file for my OU online tutorials. According to the Elluminate section of my student homepage my laptop is fine but it won't work :(

According to this page it should open in a web browser.

Nope not working in IE or chrome.

Well just spoke twice to OU computing help desk and apparently chrome and java don't mix and it is not recommended for Elluminate (would've been nice if this were mentioned on the instructions but oh well!)

Tried downloading it all over again with IE but still no worky. Am trying to change default program to java (as I was told) but I have no clue which one to choose, there's loads of java files

Ah trial and error works. It was javaws (web start)

Shame the bloody tutorials over now!
