v. untechy so need some help!

Just found out I am getting a new work laptop next week. Current one has my itunes collection on it, but these will not be transferred to the new one due to a new policy about not being allowed music and photos on work laptops.

How can I move my tunes onto another machine (i have another home laptop I can use)

The easiest way is to grab yourself an external hard disk drive or a big USB stick. Connect it to the old machine, fire up iTunes and then drag the songs out of iTunes and onto the stick. Then install iTunes on the new machine, plug the USB stick/drive in and drag the songs off of it and drop them into iTunes.

There are cleverer ways and this can have problems (iTunes deals with duplicate file names very well so that you don't have to worry about them) but very often this will do the trick without needing to do anything more complicated.
