iphone screen unresponsive. Anyone?

Really annoying!

Screen doesn't respond at the top or bottom and is hit and miss elsewhere.

I have tried turning off and doing a resent to no avail.

Does anyone have any genius solution ?

Do you have an Apple store nearby? Go to the genius bar and see what they can do for you. They are brilliant.

When my iPhone is playing up I plug it into my PC.

Tee yes, I am not too far from the one in Westfield. I will plug it in as 52 suggests and try the genius bar if that doesn't work. I have used the bar before and you are right, they are brilliant. Was just hoping for a DIY fix @ home.
