You may already know this, but apple have changed their policy on Internet tethering for iPhone - iPad connection.

You can now use your iPhone 3G connection to connect via bluetooth to your iPad. Thus saving the costs of a) 3G iPad and b) contract therefore.

So does that mean I can use dp3G iPhone to connect my iPad to the Internet?

Confused Confused

YES!

It says on update release that it works for iPhone 4 but I have just tested it on my iPhone 3GS and it works. Does anyone have a 3G?

You may want to check with your provider first that they don't charge for tethering.

Just because you can do it, doesn't mean it will be for free.

O2 have just released new iPhone tariffs that have tethering included. It was £7 odd before.

That is interesting, NiceGuy. I checked with my provider, and it is included.
