DD broke my brand new phone, help PLEASE

hi,

i figured if anyone can help me its mumsnet.

My uncle gave me a bn blackberry two weeks ago, i adored it. (sad yes)

anyway i woke up two days ago to a white screen with faint lines down it, it turns out my 2yo had given it a rather hefty bite in the night, is this repairable? if so where do i go and how much is this gonna dent my pocket?

(fyi, i cant go back to shop use warrany etc as uncle got a new contract and his provider sent two by accident when he rang for to send it back the lady on the phone said there was no record and to ''sell it or whatever'')

Take it to a local mobile shop? When my phone broke (contract phone on O2) I took it to the local O2 shop and they sent it for repairs. They didn't even check if I was a customer or anything - took my SIM out, didn't ask for a bill or my number

And the first repair didn't work, so I ended up with a brand new phone!

This place in Wimbledon claims to be able to provide spare parts and also does repairs. I've no personal experience of them, it was just the first place that came up in Google.

thanks, going to try o2 as ive been a customer 8yrs, just a pita that the phone has a bloody orange symbol on it.
