Windows Security Alert - genuine ?

Had this pop up earlier on IE suggesting we had numerous Trojans, Malware etc. Page had the Windows "look" but we got out of it quickly even though it suggested we risked a pc crash by not continuing. Is this a virus itself or a real security alert ? Ran full scan with Spyware Doctor and nothing showed up.

we get that too-I think its a virus or at least something a bit dodgy.

DO NOT DO NOT press on anything that offers a security scan with this alert- it is a virus and will bugger up your computer!!!
