Would like a trackball for our laptop as DD is not getting on with the trackpad at all (it is a rubbish one :()

any recommendations? not got a high budget, main priority is that it's good for kids (DD is 3). a wireless one would be fab but from a quick search I'm thinking it's out of my price range.

TIA :)

Why not just get a mouse if DD can't use trackpad? It connects via USB. That's what they use in school, so will get her used to pointing and clicking.

Actually I think they use trackballs/pads at her school! Plus I hate computer mice with a passion :o

The trackpad would be fine - she uses the ones at nursery - but this one has a really annoying click feature (you can tap the pad instead of the button which gets really confusing) - unlike our previous laptop we can't disable it.
