There are so many devices out there, I would be greatly appreciative of advice! I'm currently looking for a portable webcam-type device.
Basically, my in-laws' healths are going down rather quickly and they can no longer visit and are not much up for visitors. I really want my kids to get to know them better, before it's too late and I really like the idea of webcam calls (and they sounded keen on the idea when my husband talked about it to them in their weekly chats). Problem is, my MIL really doesn't like computers and even if she did, her MS makes it difficult for her to sit at the one my FIL has set-up. So I need a portable web-cam like device with a screen so she can sit and see the kids while sitting in her chair. I would like something as cheap and cheerful as possible (if someone can work that miracle!) as they prefer to buy things themselves and are currently reliant on small pension & DLA.
