Can someone please explain Spotify to me please?

I have iPad and phone. Love music, tend to download from iTunes.

I have no idea what Spotify is... Although I have a feeling I would love it

not sure about downloading (ds has just fallen asleep) but ime they don't have everything esp older stuff but is v good.

Spotify has their premium account which costs a tenner a month, and allows up to 3 devices (iPhones, iPod Touch, Android phones) to each store up to 3,333 tracks (ie 9,999 in total).

Spotify is a streaming service (albeit one that plays offline).

So yes you can sign up for a tenner and get unlimited music streamed to your ipad/iphone. But don't forget that one day when you cancel your subscription, the music is no longer yours and it will all stop. Well go back into free mode which means you can listen on computer but not on i-devices.
