Downloading BBC Iplayer?

Anyone managed to do this? Everytime I try I just get that bloody circle of dots things for ever and ever...

Windows XP so should be OK.

Can you explain more about exactly what you are trying to do.

Has it worked in the past, or is this the first time you have tired to download something?

By downloading... do you mean:

you are trying to watch something whilst online?
you are trying to download a particular tv show to then watch later?

Are you downloading using BBC Iplayer Desktop version 3.0.10? If so, then some users have reported issues which the BBC are investigating - see BBC iPlayer Help

2 nannynick. There is a page to download BBC iplayer but nothing happens...

So you get to the iPlayer Install Page but don't see the option to download iPlayer Desktop?

I think it needs Flash and Adobe Air.

Do you already have Adobe Air? Download Adobe Air

Oh I do see the option and click on the download button but it takes ages to appear in the first place and then it just hangs doing nothing!

Hmm adobe air might be the problem. Thanks will try it.
