Am urgently needing to print off an aerial view map for an important meeting tomorrow. I have found the map on google maps but when I click print I only get a blank page Confused. If I look on print preview somehow the map converts to street map only and is no longer aerial view Confused Confused.

Please please can anyone help me and tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get the required aerial view version. Thought it was going to be so simple Sad

The simplest thing to do is probably to hit the PrintScreen button on your keyboard, then go into Word or Paint and paste it in - then print that instead. That should get round whatever cleverness it is trying to do!

Thank you Smile. Tried that earlier and it wasn't having any of it Hmm. A very lovely and tech savvy friend of mine has spent the last hour playing about with it for me [400 miles away from me lol] and says the only way to do it is through google earth and not google maps. Am off to download google earth now, save image I want as a jpeg and see if it works.

It may be that the Print Screen button on your keyboard needs you to press Alt or Ctrl at the same time - but they do normally just take a picture of whatever is on your screen at the time

If it's a laptop you'll almost certainly need to hit another key with "Print Screen", I my Windows one it's the "fn" key.

If it's a Mac Laptop then it'll be something else entirely...

DVD Players often get around the screen capturing but just about anything else should work fine.
