New imac - problem

Just got new imac out of box. Tis lovely..... mark on the screen. This always happens to me. We have had it delivered by Dixons. Do I go to Dixons or Apple for help?

The mark is not a scratch as the screen feels smooth, but won't come off with the cloth. It seems to be behind the glass. Dh said not to bother, but you know how your eyes get drawn to it! It is a line of about 0.5cm in length, about half way up the screen on the left. It is not central and you almost don't notice until the screen behind the mark is white and then it is obvious.

I've got it on mine and wish I'd complained! Get it changed, don't let the disappointment of not being able to play with it today stop you from sorting it. I wish I had.

Mine's a sort of 'fold' in the screen a kind of barely noticeable crease. But I do notice it!

Hmm. It is small that I feel a bit silly, but I know it is going to annoy me.

You paid top dollar for Apple. You have a right to expect it to be perfect. They'll just swap it I'm sure

Oh dear I was just wondering what horrible fate could have happened with your immac...

It's alright - not too bad a problem. Just sad to let it go for a week! It really is gorgeous.
