Quick iPad question - ESP if you play Angry Birds

Does anyone else find that, when playing Angry Birds, the game sort of pauses when a bird is mid flight? Almost like it's buffeting? It only lasts a split second. Mine has started doing this and I'd like to know if it's a fault/problem before I ring Apple.

I'd major problems a fortnight ago when all the Apple pre-installed Apps kept closing down. Spent hours on the phone and ended up reloading the entire iPad three times from different pcs and different accounts to try to fix. Apple were going to replace it and then a Supervisor took me through all the settings on the iPad again and reset it via the settings menu. That hand't been suggested before and it worked which is great. Since then I've noticed this Angry Birds problem and it's driving me nuts. I'm wondering whether it's linked?

Can't say that I have. How often does it do that?

Do you have any other apps open? Have you tried it in Airplane mode to see if the game still does it?

Have you tried rebooting it? (hold the round button and the off button at the same time for a good few seconds til it turns off)

Thanks guys. Haven't tried aeroplane mode or rebooting but shall do both. It does it every game and I'd nearly put my life on it that it wasn't doing this before I had all the problems. Shall check those suggestions out tomorrow as I'm too knackered now. If it doesn't work, do you reckon it's worth contacting Apple? It seems trivial as it's only a game but I've only had this baby since Christmas so it's still pretty new!

Have you checked how many other apps are still open on the multitasking bar when this happens? I know Apple claim that it doesn't affect the memory, but I'm not sure it's true. I have an app (Where's Wally) that frequently gives me a 'low memory' warning when it opens & suggests restarting, but closing other apps usually works as well.

I haven't noticed any lag on Angry Birds but I don't play it a lot now, partly because I can't get past level 9 on the iPad HD version (got way past that on the iPhone version I had first) but also because I am currently addicted to Snood....

Thanks Rusty. This is going to sound really stupid but I didn't know there is a multitasking bar!! How do I show it. I close apps by using the home key to switch between them. Is that wrong.

Oh and as I'm a bit sick of angry birds, what's Snood like? Worth getting? I've been trying to upload a Sonic Hedgehogapp for DS - it has been saying loading since just after lunch. Doesn't seem right. Sigh

You only have multitasking on the iPad if you have the 4.2 operating system - if you have, and you double click the home button, you get a bar at the bottom with the icons of all the apps that are open. You can close them by holding your finger on one till it wiggles and a red minus sign appears, then you touch the ones you want to close.

Snood is a fairly basic match 3 shooter game, not very complex, I just like it because I'm good at it and I find it relaxing.

Rusty, you're a genius, thanks! There are quite a few open so I'll close and see what happens next time I'm on A Birds.
