5-year-old PC, using Windows XP. Gets as far as the Windows XP logo, next thing should be the login screen with the various usernames on, but that doesn't come up - it sits there with a blank screen and makes a buzzing/churning sound that lasts about 5 seconds.
The hard-disk hasn't been making any worrying sounds like clunking or tapping etc.
Any thoughts appreciated.
