ITunes can't connect to iPhone

Hi - trying to synch my iPhone but keep getting a message that "Itunes cannot connect to iPhone due to an unknown error".

Any clever people around who can help?

Have tried switching phone off and back on but no joy.

And here was me SURE that you lot would know. Maybe MN is not infallible.

Have you tried turning the computer off and on too?

It's your own fault for buying into the Apple myth.

Hi prism - am on a PC

Have switched off and back on again. It keeps trying to install something called EasyCD&DVD Creator which we don't appear to have.

DH is home now so will get him to have a look later.

Am also trying to clean house and cook dinner for 8 for tonight so I may not get to try and sort it all till tomorrow.

Ah, in that case it's your own fault for buying into the Windows myth- sorry, I can't help.

Haven't tried again. Had some other issues with PC earlier which DH thinks he sorted so it might be ok.
